McLeod Health Clarendon is pleased to announce the 2021 Nurse of the Year and Support Person of the Year Award Recipients: Jessica Weinberg, McLeod Health Clarendon Registered Nurse of the Year and Yvonne McFadden, Emergency Department Support Person of the Year.
All McLeod Health Clarendon staff nurses were asked to nominate a fellow nurse who provides quality, compassionate care while personifying true faithfulness to their profession. The award recipients were then honored during a special ceremony.

Nurses are some of the frontline workers whoâve given this past year their all and several said itâs their patients and teams that keep them coming back.
Many nurses said this career is their calling and they enjoy helping others.

Apr. 1 Eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine opened to all South Carolina residents 16 and older Wednesday, but Horry County hospitals didn t see the influx in appointment requests that some expected.
When phase 1b of the state s vaccine rollout began earlier this month, many hospitals reported being inundated with requests as the majority of the state s population was eligible for the shot. But with all adults over 16 cleared to get vaccinated, that pattern didn t necessarily continue.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - The Myrtle Beach Mall is now officially home to the latest COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the Grand Strand.
McLeod Health opened the clinic Thursday, which is located next to the Belk store. Those with appointments are asked to enter through the main mall access next to Books-A-Million.
Appointments for March 11 and 12 are fully booked, and McLeod says estimates 750 people will be vaccinated each day.
