We are a community of Harvest Stars
It typically takes at least 7 volunteer actions to collect, inspect, tally, sort, pack, load, and deliver one item of donated food. Last year, Manitobans donated about 11 million pounds of food to Harvest – and Harvest Community Food Network volunteers at 325+ food banks and agencies across the province delivered it to Manitobans in need. These Harvest Stars donated 190,000 hours of their time to get that food to hungry Manitobans. It was front line service. They did it anonymously. Today, we thank and recognize every one of them.
