They are taking a lunch break but they will be back this afternoon. I want to show you an important number. They want to restart Accreditation Process because it is hurting enrollment numbers. The Teachers Union and the city say student numbers are down between 20 to 30 compared to last spring. If a judge doesnt step in, city college will lose accreditation in july shutting down the college. Thats why so many showed up today for the court date. There was a line out the courtroom door, no cameras allowed inside. The city of San Francisco and Teachers Union are suing the accrediting commission that is pulling the rug. Ccsf says it is making progress on the flaws the Commission Found including financial mismanagement and lack of leadership. School supporters want the school to stay open. James Gordon Thompson, whose name was synonymous with Miss Supertest, has died (May 13, 2021 at Parkwood Institute) at the age of 94. Born in London, Ontario, he attended Ridley College, the Royal Canadian Naval College, the University of Toronto (Engineering), and the University of Western Ontario (Business).
From 1968 to 1973, he was president of Supertest Petroleum, a company co-founded by his father, John Thompson.

A keen sportsman, James Thompson applied his engineering skills to the design of Miss Supertest lll, an unlimited class hydroplane speedboat that won three consecutive world championships (the Harmsworth Trophy). In addition, Miss Supertest ll achieved the world speed record in 1957.
