Aircraft are dropping water and flame retardant to stop the spread of the flames in simi valley. It is close to the Ronald Reagan president ial library and crews are working to protect the complex which is closed for the day. Been popping up today. Firefighters knockdown flames of a new fire near lake sonoma. This fire started around 7 30 am west of geyserville. We have video from skyfox. You can see the fire burned a small area of brush. There were no major damages. And daly city, crews put out of the grass fire an hour ago. And Central California counties will lose power sometime today according to pg e. In the bay area Sonoma County will be hit the hardest with more than 28,000 pg e customers losing power starting around 3 pm. And napa county about 7500 will lose power and and San Mateo County more than 900 customers will lose power.
