Playing to a sold-out crowd at the Covelli Centre, Judas Priest rattled the rafters with a eclectic set of material, featuring tracks from their latest album, Invincible Shield, as well as a career-spanning set of classics. Invincible Shield debuted at No. 2 on the U.K. Albums Chart and at No. 18 on the Billboard 200. The set included a few surprises such as "Saints In Hell" and "Rapid Fire."

Howie Day is a pretty great performer. He's funny and interacts a lot with the audience. Where acoustic songs can sometimes start to sound the same after a while, one after the other, he used samplers and effects pedals with his guitar to mix things up at his show at the Music Box Supper Club. I was immediately impressed; it was very different.
Toto has a long history with Cleveland. It played the Agora on its very first U.S. tour in 1979, broadcast on both radio and television locally and eventually overseas as well on Japanese television. The group returned to MGM Northfield Park — Center Stage last night and brought all the magic back to town.
