KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The Westerly wind along with the low-pressure area that has developed around Rajasthan of India has a general influence over Nepal today.

KATHMANDU, Oct 21: The weather is generally clear in the hilly parts of the country with partial to normal showers in the rest of the country.

According to the weather department, varied intensity scattered T-storm was developing over isolated parts of Delhi-NCR, west Utter Pradesh, south Haryana and north Rajasthan.

Last week, the IMD had said that between September 14 and 15, a low pressure may develop over Mumbai, which may lead to heavy rain in the coming week.

The Safdarjung weather station, the city’s base observatory, recorded 9.8 mm of rainfall between 11.30 am and 5.30 pm on Saturday, while Palam recorded 11.5 mm and Aya Nagar observed 13.8 mm.

KATHMANDU, Sept 10: Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are receiving light rains at some places, with a few places experiencing partial to normal rainfall.

Humid weather prevailed through the day with the humidity levels oscillating between 57 and 74 per cent. The weather office has forecast generally cloudy sky for Monday with the maximum and minimum temperatures expected to settle around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively. KATHMANDU, Aug 7: There is partial to complete rainfall across the country with light to moderate rains in some places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and a few places in Lumbini province.

The met department has predicted light rain with thundershowers over Delhi-NCR during the next 2-3 days while heavy rainfall is likely in Punjab on August 4 and August 5.
