A Bruins broadcaster, Jack Edwards, mocked Pat Maroon's weight during the Lightning's game against the Boston team. The Big Rig responded by donating to a non-profit — in Edwards' name — that supports people struggling with mental health. "Listed at 238 pounds. That was Day 1 of training camp. I got a feeling he's had a few more pizzas between then and now."

Broadcaster Jack Edwards and analyst Andy Brickley took several jabs related to Maroon’s weight. Maroon answered back with a tweet that is helping raise thousands for Tampa Bay Thrive.
