Aguilar ordered the local police under the leadership of Col. Rodel Pastor to deploy more policemen in all establishments in the city after noticing that some were closing at 12 midnight and no longer observing the curfew hour.
She added the city government noticed that some establishments were already relaxed and no longer observing health protocols such as the mandatory wearing of face mask and face shield, filling out contract tracing forms, and observing physical distancing inside their premises.
The mayor said that not only establishments around the city will be checked by the police but also eateries, fast food chains, and sari-sari stores.
