New York cops announced on Tuesday the name of the victim who was fatally shot in broad daylight by a gunman on a moped, identifying the 11-year-old girl as Kyhara Tay. She was visiting a nail salon with a friend when a stray bullet struck her in the stomach, resulting in her death.
The 15-year-old shooter was charged as an adult with murder, manslaughter and weapons possession, cops said, with his name withheld because of his age in the slaying of the innocent little girl. He was was grabbed by police after a Friday scuffle inside the 95 Hotel on Third Ave., according to police sources, and brought to the 41st Precinct.
The girl, identified as Kyhara Tay, was just an innocent bystander half a block away when two men drove past on a moped and opened fire at around 5 p.m in the Bronx.
