The late Supreme Court Justice's robe, "dissent" collar, briefcase, and other objects will be part of the permanent collection at the American History Museum.
About three dozen objects, donated by the late Supreme Court justice's children capture the range of her impact as a legal trailblazer, Supreme Court icon and pop-culture phenomenon affectionately known as 'the Notorious RBG.'
The collar and other gifts from her family coincide with a posthumous recognition for the Supreme Court justice, who is to receive the institution’s Great Americans Medal.
