Earth Day festivities carried into the weekend!
On Saturday, a spring clean-up took place in Lincoln Park.
It was hosted by Ecolibrium 3 as part of their Earth Week Celebration.
At the event, Main Street Lincoln Park staff took care of hazardous items, while volunteers were given gloves and pickers to take care of litter. Over 60 people participated.
“We’ve had a lot of people with their kids people with their dogs. This is a great activity to get outside and something that you can do beyond Earth Week,” Shannon Laing, Main Street Lincoln Park Program Director at Ecolibrium 3 said.
