His wife Lindsay says her husband was always full of smiles and loved music.
“Nobody wants to speak because you don’t know how giving he was, you don’t know how fun he was. You know, if he was coming in right now he’d come in barefoot, singing ‘coz that’s how he always arrived barefoot and happy. You know Lindani was so many things to so many people that you can’t describe him. To me he was my home, to me he was safety, I trusted him the day I met him and he kinda fell in love with me for that and I fell inlove with him for the way he didn’t trust me.”

NATIONAL NEWS - The wife of Lindani Myeni wants to raise her children in South Africa because she does not believe it is safe for black children in the United States.
Myeni, a South African, was shot dead by police in Hawaii.
“We always wanted flexibility to be in whichever country the kids can prosper most and, right now, I feel like this is the safest country for them. I don’t want to raise kids that are considered black in America, where clearly it’s not safe,” Lindsay Myeni said on Thursday.

DURBAN - THE widow of the late Lindani Myeni is seeking assistance from the government in order to obtain South African citizenship.
Lindsay, who is an American citizen, was speaking after her husbandâs memorial service held at eMpangeni Rugby Club yesterday.
Myeni was shot dead by Honolulu police in the US island state of Hawaii three weeks ago. He had moved to the island early last year with his wife and children.
According to the Hawaiian police, Myeni was shot dead when officers were responding to a âhome burglaryâ. It is alleged that when the police arrived at the scene, a scuffle occurred between Myeni and three officers outside a home.
