Straub Named ACC Diver of the Week share
NOTRE DAME, Indiana After a record-setting performance in No. 18 Notre Dame’s dominant win at West Virginia over the weekend, senior Kelly Straub has been named ACC women’s Diver of the Week. It marks her second weekly conference honor of the season and fourth in the last two seasons.
Straub rewrote the record books for her second-consecutive week, as she won the battle on the women’s platform, with just .07 points separating first and second. Straub won out with a 273.45, and Annie Wiese took a narrow second with 273.38, both notching Zone-A scores. Both topped the previous Notre Dame program record on the platform (267.35) set by Lindsey Streepy in 2014.
