Rockfish Are Snapping at the Jetties
Nick Cutler, of Arcata, landed a nice lingcod Saturday while fishing off the south jetty. The boat-based rockfish season on the North Coast is still three weeks away but that certainly doesnt mean rockfish cant be on the dinner menu. The jetties, the breakwater constructed to protect Humboldt Bay, are currently providing some excellent rockfish action.
