After some unfortunate hiccups, the results ended positively for some residents of Grande Prairie as the Alberta government rolled out its COVID-19 vaccine for seniors, mid-week.19
The province’s vaccine website and phone lines couldn’t keep up with initial demand as users attempted to book vaccination appointments for themselves or loved ones within seconds of the 8 a.m. opening on Wednesday. Within minutes, social media was abuzz with reports about the failure of the booking process.
