Outer Banks candidates file for 2024 election, three races unopposed
North Carolina’s candidate filing period for the 2024 election closed Friday, and 23 candidates from the Outer Banks filed for election, along with three candidates from inland counties who would also represent the Outer Banks if elected. Three local Republican candidates will run unopposed.
