Russia, China and US are Bolivia s main lithium markets

La Paz, Jul 21 (Prensa Latina) Russia, China and the United States were the main export markets for Bolivia s lithium carbonate since January to date, according to the deputy minister of High Energy Technologies, Alvaro Arnez.
The official explained that they have already sold 700 tons of lithium, billed on a pilot scale in Uyuni s salt mine, in Potosi department, to those markets, which produce lithium ion batteries, Ahora el Pueblo newspaper reported.
In addition, the company Yacimientos de Litio Boliviano is operating the Lithium Carbonate Pilot Plant in the town of Llipi, in the above mentioned department.
