Two nurses from Belarus awarded Florence Nightingale Medal

MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) - Two nurses of the Belarusian Red Cross Society have been awarded the Florence Nightingale Medal today, on the International Nurses Day, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Red Cross Society.
Twenty-five outstanding nurses from 18 countries have been awarded the Florence Nightingale Medal, which recognizes exceptional courage and devotion to victims of armed conflict or natural disaster. It also recognizes exemplary service or a pioneering spirit in the areas of public health or nursing education.
The service s chief nurse Liudmila Buzel has been awarded the medal for her contribution to the development of the medical and social service Dapamoga of the Red Cross Society of Belarus.
