Merseyside Police are investigating allegations against a member of staff at Steven Gerrard Academy
Police are investigating allegations that a member of staff at a football academy behaved inappropriately towards a student. The ECHO understands the alleged incident occurred when the Steven Gerrard Academy employee gave the male student a lift home. Complaints have been made to the academy itself, Liverpool County Football Association (LCFA), Liverpool Council s Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) and Merseyside Police.
A spokesman for the academy said: Steven Gerrard Academy is aware of an allegation and that allegation is under internal investigation and has been reported to the Liverpool Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO), the Merseyside County FA and FA.
