The 19th annual Livingston County Association of Realtors Food & Fund Drive is scheduled for next Saturday, May 1st, to help those in need of help of meeting the food needs of their family. The event will take place at 19 real estate agencies all over Livingston County with donations going to Gleaners Community Food Party, which will then distribute them to local pantries.
Event Chair Sherri Garron of the Buckley Jolley Real Estate Team stresses that 100% of the donations will stay in Livingston County to help local residents during this stressful time that has been caused by the coronavirus pandemic. âOverall,â Garron says, âthe need has been greater (this year) because of COVID, and in 2020 the need and amount of distribution increased by about 30% in Livingston County.â
