Pride Alliance of Livingston planning series of Pride Month activities

The Pride Alliance of Livingston wants to fill the county with hope and inspiration this June. The organization, which is sponsored by the Livingston Diversity Council, is planning a series of outdoor and virtual activities to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month. We had a creative group of people with really lofty goals of providing various activities in various ways, said Anne Rennie, co-chair of the Pride Alliance of Livingston. No matter how anybody wanted to get involved, there is a method to do so. Pride Month will kick off with a Rainbow Reception from noon to 3 p.m. June 6 at the Mill Pond Amphitheatre in Brighton. The event will feature live music, sidewalk chalking and conversations about how to support members of the LGBTQ+ community.
