not a couple of individuals waking up and committing the crime. police say up to four men using flashlights focused on the back of the building that sits on a rail yard. edgar medina, the only suspect in custody, was allegedly caught with the 1.8 million in cash in the trunk of this car. the break in went down around 9:30 august 16th. police say surveillance video shows the group casing the building and at one point appears to tamper with the security system, an elaborate network of cameras. these are the tools left behind, jacks used to open a steel door. when inside they broke through doors and concrete, reached the vault and were in the process of moving the cash when you see here an officer on routine patrol spotted medina who took off in the car but was eventually caught. not cool at all. reporter: she lives next door to this home in brentwood where medina lives, a man with ten prior arrests out on payroll. we did reach out to loomis but did not here back. police a

who is raising sarah s little girl and struggling with what to tell her. we ll have more at 6:00. n.j. burkett, channel 7 eyewitness news. thank you. a four hour standoff in newark is over after police say a man stabbed his wife in front of her own grandson. all this starts around 11:30 this morning. the wife and grandson were able to get out of the house after inside. eventually the 65-year-old surrendered and was taken away on a stretcher. a woman was taken to the hospital where she is now undergoing surgery. no word yet about exactly what led to the initial stabbing. we are learning more about the first cases of zika apparently transmitted by mosquitoes on the u.s. mainland. a woman and three men in florida likely contracted the virus through mosquito bites according to the state s area. there have been 537 travel related cases of zika, 449 in new york, 50 in new jersey, and 38 in connecticut. eyewitness news reporter stacey sager is at la guardia airport with the ne
