COUNCIL officials have vetoed naming a street after Lancashire cricket captain and England national coach David Lloyd. Developer Countryside Properties wanted to name one of two new roads at their housing estate off Ribblesdale Avenue, Accrington, after the all rounder-turned-TV commentator who was born in the town.
