On Tuesday, local Girl Scout Troop 1313 and Girl Scouts-Diamonds President and CEO Dawn Prasifka donated 683 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to teachers, school staff, and students at Park Avenue Elementary School in Stuttgart. The donation was part of a campaign by the Girl Scouts-Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas to thank communities for their support of Girl Scouts who participated in the Girl Scout Cookie Program this year.
Girl Scout Troop 3166 sells 8,322 boxes of cookies, gives back to others
Local Girl Scout Troop 3166 finished up their cookie-selling season strong. They challenged businesses to buy a $60 case of cookies and then donate them to a charity. In total they sold 8,322 boxes and were able to ship donated boxes to the military overseas, the veterans centers, first responders, food pantry, and the homeless shelters. The girls had a busy season and they now closer to their goal of going to Disney World as a troop next year. They thank businesses that contributed to Cookies for a Cause including: Bush Auto, Houston HVAC, Sunoco in Clarksville, Honnerlaw Real Estate, Wilmington Auto Center, Bright Farms, Lebanon Electric, Middletown Electric, REM Printing Automotive, Kelly’s Meat and Deli, Clinton Warren Joint Firefighters, Bob Wysong, Kibler Lumber, Musselman Motor Cars, Buckley Brothers, Superior Flooring, Clinton Becker, Loan Depot, Naylor’s Furniture, Mulch America, LCNB National Bank
