Mumbai Rain Update: The IMD predicted

Schools and colleges in Maharashtras Raigad and Chandrapur districts will remain closed due to heavy rainfall. CM stated that schools in affected areas will stay closed, with local administration making the final call based on weather conditions.

"Badlapur-Ambarnath section (UP + DOWN) closed from 11.05 hrs for traffic due to water-logging," Central Railways chief public relations officer Dr Shivraj Manaspure said.

While a point failure at Panvel railway station disrupted Mumbai local train services on Harbour Line, water logging halted local trains on the Central Line. 

Local train services came to a halt today between Badlapur and Ambarnath section in Maharashtra's Thane district adjoining Mumbai due to water-logging on railway tracks after heavy rains, officials said.

ট্রেনে দরজার কাছে দাঁড়িয়ে ফোনে কারও সঙ্গে কথা বলছিলেন প্রীতি। ট্রেন ছাড়তেই দুই যুবক ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ে তাঁর ফোনটি ছিনিয়ে নেওয়ার চেষ্টা করেন। বাধা দিতে গিয়ে ট্রেন থেকে পড়ে যান প্রীতি।
