Perth Basin oil and gas exploration company Norwest Energy has provided its final operational update for the Lockyer Deep-1 conventional gas discovery well. The well has been successfully suspended for production testing and the rig has been released.

Warrego Energy reports that West Erregulla independent Reserves certification supports the ability to satisfy foundation Gas Sale Agreement (GSA). Results are in line with previous certification. Potential to grow resources through further exploration in EP469.

It said that the discovery made by Energy Resources and Norwest Energy may have positive implications for multiple exploration targets within its 50%-owned EP469 in Western Australia.
