The simplification of customs clearance processes is needed for the improvement of the logistics sector in Bangladesh, analysts told a seminar yesterday. 

Because customs activities directly influence the time of delivery of imported and exported goods, the reform and modernization of this sectors administrative procedures exert a positive impact on activities of relevant fields, such as increasing trade facilitation and promoting logistics development.

The Minister of State for Tribal Affairs had launched the “Go Tribal Campaign” to institutionalize collaborations and partnerships with different organizations to promote tribal products, nationally and internationally.
