The bulk of the meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Education on Tuesday, May 11, was spent recognizing students and staff members for their achievements. Pierson Rickard, an eighth grade East Lincoln Middle School student, who was named seventh chair trombone in the North Carolina All State Band.
