Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has inaugurated the states longest flyover, named Nilachal Flyover, which stretches over 2.63 kilometers. The flyover, built at a cost of ₹420.75 crore, connects Maligaon Chariali to Kamakhya Gate in Guwahati. The project was completed in just 35 months by two firms under the oversight of the Public Works (Roads) Department.
