The cat is out of the bag. The Longmont Symphony Orchestra can no longer hide its light under a bush. Since its founding in 1966, it has grown from offering four concerts on a budget of $1,645 to today's orchestra with 15 performances on a budget of just over $600,000.
While no one wants to pay more taxes, when voting for Issue 3D, it is imperative we don’t lose sight of our community’s future requirements while considering our present. The Longmont community has always been willing to consider the needs for tomorrow and use our wisdom and voting power to recognize want our future should look like.
