Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has declared a disaster in several Arkansas counties after severe storms and straight-line winds caused damage on June 25.

Around 11 a.m. on July 8, Joshua Abbott, 41, escaped a SCSO Detention Center van while in transportation to the Arkansas Department of Corrections in Eastern Arkansas.

Lonoke County authorities have recaptured a prisoner who escaped from a transport vehicle Saturday morning and fled nearly a mile on foot, a Facebook post from the county sheriff’s office stated.
