By Dean Murray A galaxy has mysteriously redirected a powerful jet of radiation at Earth. Research has revealed that galaxy, named PBC J2333.9-2343, has changed the direction of the jet “drastically by an angle of up to 90 degrees”. A study by a team of international astronomers explains the jet is observed “going from being

Researchers say they have discovered a jet from a galaxy with a black hole at its center changed its direction to point toward Earth. The galaxy, named PBC ...

Previously a radio galaxy, this galactic object has transformed into something bigger and brighter! A team of international astronomers has made an unprecedented discovery of a galaxy that has undergone a significant classification shift due to its core activity.

Astronomers have observed a rare case of a galaxy shapeshifting.

A group of international researchers said a jet from a galaxy with a supermassive black hole at its center had changed direction and is pointing at us.

Astronomers are redefining a galaxy whose black hole jet changed directions by 90 degrees.

An object once thought to be a radio galaxy is actually an active black hole that changed angles to point directly at Earth, new research suggests.

Scientists revealed Tuesday that galaxy PBC J2333.9-2343 has been reclassified as a supermassive black hole ... and is currently facing our solar system

The event marks the first observation of a reorientation so dramatic that it changes the category a galaxy fits into.
