Forty Student-Athletes Graduate in Fall 2023 Ceremonies

CLEMSON, S.C. - Forty student-athletes and 10 students in support roles and spirit squads earned degrees in the fall, which culminated in Clemson University’s Commencement ceremonies on Dec. 21, 2023 in Littlejohn Coliseum. Thirty-nine individuals earned undergraduate degreers, while twelve have earned master’s degrees.  The fifty students comprise 25 different degree programs and nine athletic programs. Nine members served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and six were part of the Tiger Leadership Academy.  The list includes 15 members of the football program, four members of the National Champion men’s soccer program, and three members of the Women’s Soccer College Cup team. In all, 22 of the graduates won team ACC Championships in their respective sports.  Additionally, Daniel Gossett earned his PRTM degree as part of the Tiger Trust program, which allows student-athletes who left to pursue a career in professional sports to return to finish their degrees. Clemson Concludes Head of the Charles

Boston, MA. – Clemson wrapped up their two days of competition at Head of the Charles this Sunday. The Tiger’s raced in the Women’s Club Four on Saturday and the Women’s Championship Eight Sunday. The Clemson Tiger’s trip started off Saturday afternoon with the Women’s Club Fours. The line-up for the race was as follows: Jaysen Hall at stroke, Emma Randolph, Claudia Scherbin, Caroline Emerson at bow, and Salma Shaalan as coxswain. While the boat originally placed fourth, they were later disqualified from the race by the officials. Next, Clemson raced in the Women’s Championship Eights on Sunday. The line-up for this race was as follows: Christina Minyo at coxswain, Anna Luttrell at stroke, Lori Belanger, Isabel Velasquez, Rachel Twitty, Amelia Rinehart, Amelia Anglin, Emerey Sampson, and Hannah Hayes at bow. Six Tigers Named to All-ACC Academic Team

CLEMSON, S.C. - Six Tigers have been named to the ACC All-Academic Team, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.  Lori Belanger, Caroline Emerson, Meghan McClean, Karli Robinson, Rachel Twitty and Isabel Velasquez were recognized for their efforts in the classroom. Five of the six athletes find themselves on the list for the second season in a row while Meghan McClean receives her first academic honor. Belanger enjoyed a successful sophomore campaign and was rewarded with Second Team All-ACC honors while two-time All-ACC performer and 2021 Rookie of the Year, Rachel Twitty, continues to excel in the classroom and on the water. The Tigers, who finished fourth place at the ACC Championships as a team, also recently posted a 984 Academic Progress Rate score for the most recent year. Tigers Place Fourth at ACC Championships, 3V8+ Secures Bronze Medal

CLEMSON, S.C. All five Clemson boats qualified for the grand final on the first day of the ACC Championships. Clemson's 3V8+ got the Tigers off to a great start with a second-place finish, clocking in at 07:17.667. The momentum continued to roll in favor of the Tigers as the 1V8+ placed second with a time of 06.50.692. Shortly after, the 2V8+ placed second again, clocking in at 06:57.680 while the 1V4+ followed that up with another impressive performance of their own with a 07.38.139 time for a second-place finish.
