Louisville City Council OKs contracts for wheelchair ramps, sidewalks

DISCUSSION: Miracle Concrete Contractors of Canton will replace
wheelchair ramps and sidewalks at a cost of $6.50 per square foot.
The city will direct Miracle as to which ramps and sidewalks need to
be replaced. The wheelchair ramps are a requirement of the Americans
with Disabilities Act (ADA). All work will include replacement of
topsoil, seed and straw for the grass areas.
No dates were set for the onset of construction. The city has marked those sidewalks that need to be replaced. Any required
wheelchair ramps will be paid for by the city, while sidewalk repairs
