Anne Trevett presented with British Empire Medal honour

Anne Trevett received the honour during a ceremony at County Hall in Trowbridge on Monday, April 12. The medal was presented by Sarah Rose Troughton, the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire. Anne said: “I am pleased and honoured to be recognised in this way. Working with Safer and Supportive Salisbury and Lower Bemerton is very much a team effort, and we are pleased that we have been able to make a positive difference to local people through this difficult past twelve months.” Anne has supported Mencap locally for 20 years and been a trustee of the charity as well as supporting the community of Lower Bemerton – organising events and supporting the St John’s Place community centre.
