Lrb Election Rules News Today

Thursday NLRB issued a notice to rescind four provisions from Board’s Rules and Regulations contained in Final Rule published in December 2019. Struck down by DC Circuit rule contained several provisions pertaining to the quickie election rules of 2014.

Court of Appeals for D.C. Circuit has recently revived a portion of election rule promulgated by the NLRB during Trump administration. NLRB promulgated an election rule which modified several quickie election procedures established by NLRB during Obama administration.

NLRB published a notice inviting comment on a proposal that would rescind and replace the current Fair Choice and Employee Voice rule. 3 policies about election blocking charges, voluntary recognition, and construction industry bargaining relationships are under consideration.
