Jenkins got hurt in the Browns game, and the Bears started Cody Whitehair in his place against the Cardinals.

An early look at the Chicago Bears injury report for Week 17 isn't for those with a weak stomach.

Kmet hurt his knee Sunday. Mooney is in concussion protocol, too, after reporting symptoms on Monday morning.

“We could’ve put up at least 35, 40 points,” Fields said of the offense slipping into a lull after its early 21-0 lead.

Cairo Santos has converted 115 of 116 field-goal tries with the Bears. General Manager Ryan Poles rewarded him with a four-year contract extension.

As the Bears prepare for their Christmas Eve afternoon game against the Cardinals, they'll do so with Teven Jenkins in concussion protocol.

After struggling to find a groove amid high expectations following his impressive rookie season, the second-year safety from Penn State has been making a bigger impact in recent games — including 17 tackles against the Lions on Sunday.

GM Ryan Poles has some big decisions to make, but with an improving defense, a developing offensive line — and likely the No. 1 pick in the draft — the Bears will be headed in the right direction in 2024 whether or not Matt Eberflus is the coach, Luke Getsy is the offensive coordinator and Justin Fields is the quarterback.

Fields has room to grow, to be sure, but Sunday he led the Bears to their most impressive win in two years.

DE Myles Garrett and the Browns are No. 1 in yards allowed but tied 14th in points allowed — giving up 24 points or more vs. the Jaguars, Rams, Broncos and Ravens in the past five games. So it’s a challenge, but also an opportunity for Fields and Getsy.
