Eni has delivered an excellent set of operating and financial results despite a weakening scenario. This was driven by a resilient E&P result that featured a recovery in hydrocarbon production and very strong gas and LNG performance. There was also a steady contribution from biorefineries, the commercial network and continued growth from Plenitude and Power meaning the Company recorded €4.6 billion of adjusted EBIT and €2.9 billion of adjusted net profit.
Eni has announced its unaudited consolidated results for the full year and the fourth quarter of 2022. FY 2022 group adjusted EBIT was €20.4 bln, double the amount of FY 2021, driven by a strong performance of the E&P, GGP and R&M businesses.

Eni and Sonatrach have inaugurated the Solar Lab and laid the first stone of a 10MW photovoltaic plant in the Bir Rebaa North (BRN) production complex, in the Berkine basin, south-eastern Algeria. The Solar Lab displays different photovoltaic panels which will be tested in the extreme irradiation conditions of Southern Algeria, ensuring data collection and analysis, allowing to identify the most efficient technologies.
