New data has revealed significant occupier demand for warehouse space in 2020, with the strong momentum said to have continued into 2021, buoyed by the strong macro tailwinds which are supporting demand. According to Colliers’ latest report, in 2020, just over 3.2 million sq m was leased nationally, up 38 per cent on the 10-year average and was dominated by the Sydney and Melbourne markets, which collectively accounted for 84 per cent of take-up for the year.

Dismiss Normal text size Advertisement Property group LOGOS has sealed a major lease deal with the fast-fashion giant H&M and its associated Collection of Style (COS) at its Marsden Park Logistics Estate in western Sydney. The Swedish-based fashion group will lease a 27,336 square metre purpose-built storage and distribution facility, which is the seventh and final building at the $330 million estate. The new deal will mean the estate is fully leased just two years after breaking ground.
