Look east A season of Japanese film is available to rent from the IFI from March 5, including classics of the genre as well as newer movies.

The Legend of the Stardust Brothers (1985), the cult musical about two wannabe popstars, and 2009’s

Focal suas International Irish language festival Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia is on from March 1-17, and this year’s ambassadors are musician Imelda May, Limerick hurling captain Declan Hannon and presenter Bláthnaid Treacy. Thousands of activities will be taking place online and everyone from those with just the cúpla focal to fluent speakers are encouraged to join in.
