President Joe Biden took the oath of office on Wednesday with a slew of challenges and problems he will have to face head on as commander in chief. The most pressing problem many Laredoans hope the new president tackles directly is the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although a politician alone cannot bring an end to the global pandemic that has caused more than 400,000 deaths in the country and more than 560 deaths in Webb County, policies could be enacted to help mitigate the pandemic to some extent.
