Updated December 19 Several commuters reported a gridlock in the south of Malta on Friday, with drivers claiming they were stuck in traffic for over an hour in the Paola and Fgura area. Drivers pointed to closures around Corradino Road and the Marsa-Ħamrun bypass as the main cause of congestion, with traffic overspilling in surrounding villages and towns. Man dies at Luqa industrial estate Police say no foul play is suspected 17 December 2020, 8:46am A man died on Thursday morning at the Luqa industrial estate, the police said. Police said that earlier on Thursday morning, they were called to assist a man who had collapsed to the ground. The man was certified dead on the spot.  The police do not suspect foul play at this time. The identity of the man is not known. A police investigation is ongoing.
