LUXEMBURG - A 92-year-old man died Wednesday because of complications from an April 8 crash, according to the Kewaunee County Sheriff s Department.
Roland DeCremer of Luxemburg died six days after the SUV he was driving was involved in a three-vehicle crash at State 54 and County Line Road in the town of Luxemburg that closed the highway to traffic between County Line and Walhain Road for about two hours.
The sheriff s department responded to a call for the crash at about 11:06 a.m. April 8. Authorities initially determined that DeCremer was turning east onto State 54 from County Line in a 2018 Ford Escape but failed to yield to an eastbound 2015 semi truck.
Forestville man killed in SUV crash in Kewaunee County is identified
CASCO - The driver who was killed in a one-car crash Saturday night in the Town of Casco was identified Tuesday by the Kewaunee County Sheriff s Department.
Thomas P. Geldmeyer, 54, of Forestville, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet SUV westbound on State 54 near South View Lane when the vehicle hit an icy patch of the road at about 7 p.m., according to the sheriff s department. Geldmeyer lost control of the SUV, which crossed the road and went into a ditch, rolling numerous times and ejecting him from the vehicle.
Geldmeyer was transported by Luxemburg Rescue to a Green Bay hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
