Carroll County Project Linus is a nonprofit organization that makes, gathers and donates blankets to facilities that serve children in need such as hospitals, social service organizations, schools, fire companies and police stations.
Kelsey Bosley is a McDaniel College student from Manchester. Bosley has done art as long as she can remember. “I was always coloring something,” she said.
Patrick O’Brien is a painter and does graphite drawings. His first memory of creating artwork was at Christmas when he was 6 years old. The Taneytown resident received both a set of cap pistols and an easel with a drawing pad on it as gifts.
“I have always sewn,” said Ruth Colson, a craftsperson living in Hampstead. “I made all three of my daughters’ clothes, including dresses and pajamas.” She also made a lot of clothing for herself dresses and skirts.
