Many tourists flocked to Da Lat City in Vietnam’s Central Highlands for a four-day holiday weekend just to find themselves stuck in exhausting traffic jams and endless queues at local attractions.
Da Lat, located in Lam Dong Province, welcomed approximately 125,000 visits on Reunification Day (April 30), International Workers’ Day (May 1), and May 2, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
The number of tourists during this year’s holiday, which ends on Monday, jumped threefold versus the same period of 2020 and 2.5 times more than 2019.
