"If I was in Numsa, I would be very worried that they put two candidates for positions of president," said former Gauteng premier Mbhazima Shilowa.

SOUTH African Federation of Trade Unions (Saftu) general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi retained his position when he was re-elected at a fiercely contested elective congress on Wednesday, 25 May.

Two months after facing threats of suspension, Zwelinzima Vavi was re-elected as general secretary of the South African Federation of Trade Unions.
