Rockets girls rally to win Croll Invitational, 7-6

OAK HARBOR In a back-and-forth game that featured a number of twists and turns, Oak Harbor played well when it mattered most.
Emily Sommers hit a walk-off double to score Remi Gregory in the bottom of the eighth inning to send the Rockets to a 7-6 victory over Northview in the championship game of the Croll Invitational.
Oak Harbor held a 3-1 lead before the Wildcats scored four runs to go ahead 5-3. The Rockets rallied to tie it at 5-5 in the bottom half of the inning. Northview scored a run in the top of the seventh and Oak Harbor again answered with a run in the bottom half of the seventh to send the game to extra innings.
