Man in critical condition after road rage shooting in Macomb County Victim is in temporary serious condition at Beaumont Royal Oak. Tags:  WARREN, Mich. – A 31-year-old man was shot in a road rage shooting Saturday afternoon in Sterling Heights. According to authorities, he was shot at near the intersection of 16 Mile and Mound roads at about 3 p.m. He was able to drive to a restaurant near 12 Mile and Mound roads, where he went inside and collapsed. Police said he was rushed to Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition. Witnesses said the shooter was able to escape by getting onto I-696.

The burglary was captured on camera. Not even a week later, that same man seen in video, 31-year-old Trevor Shanks, along with Julie Charbeneau have been arrested for pawning some of the jewels. Turns out Shanks has a long rap sheet with a history home invasions and armed robberies. Ad Most of the groundwork to identify the suspect was from Marilyn’s son, Matthew, who ended up calling every pawn shop in the area.

The homeowner said everything happened in her Warren neighborhood Friday afternoon. She left her home to go to Home Depot and that’s when the thief went into the back of her home and stole her precious jewelry. She says everything happened in about 30 minutes, but the good news is it was all recorded on her security camera. “Somebody had kicked it in because half the door, the door frame, the wall was all distorted and broken,” said Marilyn Maceri. “It was drywall all over the floor,”

Community steps in to help man whose van was stolen in violent Roseville carjacking Derek Hill runs Last Supper ministry out of the van Tags:  ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A man whose van was stolen in a violent carjacking in Macomb County is speaking out about the incident. Derek Hill, 52, said he pulled over to help when he saw a woman stranded in a Roseville Del Taco parking lot on Tuesday. When he got out of his vehicle, he was attacked and quickly realized it was a plot for theft. Now the community is stepping in to help him. It was around 1:30 a.m. when Hill saw a car broken down on Gratiot Avenue at Masonic in Roseville. He stopped to help. He said he motioned the person motioned for Hill to roll down his window and that’s when he was punched. He was pulled out of his van and stomped on.
