The McDonough County Health Department, in cooperation with Western Illinois University, will host two COVID-19 vaccination clinics (including boosters) for WIU faculty, staff and students, as well as members of the general public, Jan. 25 and Feb. 22. Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available at no cost.
As Western Illinois University prepares to start the Spring 2022 semester, all members of the University community (vaccinated and unvaccinated) are encouraged to complete a COVID-19 test before returning to WIU s campuses. COVID-19 test clinics will be available on both campuses as well.
Since we re returning from a holiday break in which many of us may have gotten together with friends and family, we encourage all members of our University community - even those who are vaccinated - to take a COVID-19 test this week at the Macomb or Quad Cities campuses test locations.
