CEBU CITY - The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 7 (Central Visayas) recorded at least 13 job applicants who were hired on the spot (HOT) during its December 8 job fair, "Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan: A Blended Jobs and Business Fairs". All HOT applicants were hired by a leading apparel manufacturer of a world-renowned sportswear and outdoor wear brand based at the Mactan Export Processing Zone in Lapulapu City, DOLE-7 Director Marion Sevilla said in a news release on Saturday. The HOTS were mostly production workers, quality controllers, industrial engineers, building engineers, and sewing mechanics.
